What I Accomplished Yesterday
(From Lake Tahoe)
1) Did research for my book "Bakeries I Have Known and Loved."
2) Learned origin of word/term "moxie.
3) Had my picture taken with large pine cone on my head.
4) Pondered why there aren't any restaurants named after Donner party.
No wonder I was tired last night.
Moxie: name of longest continuously operating soft drink company. They used to advertise their invigorating elixir. You've got moxie!
