One More Thing

Know I could
try to cram
one more thing
into this day
but why not
leave room
for the unexpected
and an
opening for grace?

Another F word

Let us return to anchor ice.
"Anchor ice in rivers tends to be composed of...
small flocculent masses."
Flocculent?
What the f?
Definition: having or resembling tufts of wool.
Work THAT into a sentence.

Word Challenge

I can spot
the seldom used words
in my vocabulary closet
by their level of dust.
Frustrated, frequently used,
has no dust
but flounced
and flummoxed
are plenty dusty.

What words
in your closet
need an airing?

Don't fret
about this challenge,
frolic instead!

Obviously I was fixated on the F shelf.

Frosty Frisbees

This afternoon,
thrown from the sky,
the biggest snowflakes
I've ever seen,
frosty frisbees.
